Cycling for all at Three Sisters

Get on your bike and get pedalling Wednesday 10th July and enjoy a jam-packed afternoon of free cycling at Three Sisters Race Circuit.

Join Inspiring healthy lifestyles at Three Sisters and enjoy an afternoon of traffic-free, family-friendly cycling. It’s the perfect opportunity to dust off the old bike, try out the new one or borrow one of IHLs if you don’t have your own. We even have a new fleet of e-bikes available to try out.

There’ll be adult and kids bikes and helmets available to borrow, balance bikes for the little ones, free bike maintenance if yours could do with a little love, cycling stalls and other family activities including a climbing wall, face painting and inflatables.

Wheels For All adapted bikes will be available on the day too. Double hand bikes, adult trikes and more will be there along with any assistance you may need.

Richard Smith, Inspiring healthy lifestyles Sports Engagement Officer said, “We hope cycling fever grips Wigan this year with the final stage of Tour of Britain coming right through the Borough.

“This is a perfect opportunity for all ages and abilities to get on a bike, whether it’s for the first time or the thousandth. Come along get in the spirit of cycling”.

If you want to get back into cycling or fancy taking part in social rides, Inspiring healthy lifestyles have nine cycle pods around the Borough, including two new ones at Green Slate Farm and Astley Mining Museum, which host the start of many Active Outdoors bikes rides.
