As of Friday 10th December, it is now compulsory to wear a mask within the theatre building (unless you are exempt) for the duration of your visit.

In light of the new government guidelines regarding Covid-19, and in order to best protect our audiences and staff, face coverings must be worn at all times within the Prince of Wales Theatre including in the auditorium during performances. Our staff will also be wearing masks at all times.

The only exceptions to this are for those who are exempt from wearing face coverings, those under 12 years of age, and when eating or drinking during your visit including in the auditorium.

This will continue until further notice. Mandating mask-wearing is in addition to the Covid-safe practices we already have in place, and we will be continuing those and extending as necessary. We will keep all arrangements under review and react accordingly to any further change in government guidance.

  • Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities available when entering the building and during your visit.
  • Signage to remind everyone to maintain social distancing.
  • Please contact us and we will see if we can exchange or refund your ticket.
